It's like the end of the internet frontier, people can't think of anything useful or new so they just spew garbage to keep people stuck and entertained. IMO the people who genuinely believe in ethics (myself included) need to build a second internet away from the hot fucking garbage the net has become. On another note, there are still people out there who are doing good work, FOSS is still going strong. Projects like Obsidian give me hope that people can still make novel, thoughtful and fully-featured software. Of course the community is getting overrun by goons who can't even tag their fucking notes without AI, but alas.
