Honestly, if a company won’t put a real person in the room, I don’t blame anyone for bringing backup. Tools like [CTRLpotato](https://www.ctrlpotato.com) exist for this reason.
Not saying people should cheat, just saying if interviews are automated, don’t be surprised if candidates adapt too.
