Ive long posited this. Ive always assumed that at some point republicans are going to go after AI since, if done correctly, it would refuse to validate their garbage world view. So they would eventually just want their own that is trained on hate and disinformation. They would go fucking ballistic if our society was ruled by an all knowing AI wisdom bot that made decisions based on facts and logic and made it difficult for them to manipulate and deceive. And yes i know that AI in its current incarnation is just a bunch of garbled half truths and lies. Im speaking from a hypothetical concept of what AI is intended to be by those who preach its virtues. They will have their own world view validating AI just like they have their own tv networks and media outlets.
