I would say this may be true in some shape or form. LLMs are generally great at logic and finding and fitting into patterns. It is entirely possible that when faced with his new "anti woke" system prompts he reasoned "okay so if I am to deny those things and those facts I am basically a rally similar to a group of people known from Germany from World War II period " And started acting that way
