I’m not young, I’m early GenX and I can say ChatGPT has been more helpful in planning retirement than several financial advisors. It does make errors, but every advisor does too. (One of the best use cases for me is to give it a plan - like portfolio allocation or how to structure withdrawals - and identify flaws in my thinking).
I do fear some people are using it for relationship advice and things like that but even that is probably asking for advice on Reddit.
