That's a slippery slope argument. It's like the opposite of the boat meme. "Let's be scared of what's behind door number 3! (AI in the future). So let's not open door number 2, AI in the now -- let's stick with door number 1 (socialmedia/tiktok/etc. which is literally currently doing what people in here are very worried AI might do in the future if it's changed). Yes, I do think we should be vigilant and make sure that the major chatbots don't go the way of ... the rest of the internet. Let's not pretend that somehow AI chatbots are worse than the rest of the internet, when they are currently all better.
