You are correct. It is amazing how many people are more than happy to parrot (lol) the line that what we have now is a dead end. Llama 4 is 2.2 trillion parameters. The emergent abilities of those parameters at that scale, mixing in the same soup, creates things that the original designer could never have predicted. Also, who says that intelligence has to look like ours.
