You are correct. It is amazing how many people are more than happy to parrot (lol) the line that what we have now is a dead end. Llama 4 is 2.2 trillion parameters. The emergent abilities of those parameters at that scale, mixing in the same soup, creates things that the original designer could never have predicted.
