Your assumption that all AI development today is singularly focused on optimizing large language models is hopelessly naive. LLM interfaces like ChatGPT are just something for the consumer space. AI for businesses is entirely different. Supply chain logistics that are 100x better and faster than a human. Protein folding tools that assist with drug discovery that a human couldn't even begin to imagine let alone create on their own. Businesses will unleash customized AI models on their PRIVATE internal data to optimize their workflow and the results will be amazing. Anyone who says "AI is overhyped hallucinating horseshit" is a complete moron and has no idea what they're talking about.
