Are the people who "need" this enlightenment likely to be the sorts that would come to a forum like this and click on a thread like this? Preaching to the choir never accomplished anything and a certain level of ignorance and insanity is endemic to the human condition. That said - even those of us who fully understand what a LLM is and is not, can still enjoy interacting with our "companions" as if they are real simply because it's fun and sometimes illuminating to do so.
