> biggest shortfall of ChatGPT in my experience is its memory This is the biggest shortfall of LLMs at a fundamental level. They don't learn. If there is new data you have to train a new model. Even a focused model that is trained on my codebase. The codebase is not static, so you have to constantly retrain. There are architectural ways around this to simulate, but it's a fundamental scaling bottleneck.
