According to the article, the AI images were based off a 12 year old version of her.
I had to Google her age, which probably landed me on some list, but she was born in 2007 which would make her 17 now. Her Disney Channel show ran from 2019 to 2021, so there would have been tons of public imagery of her from that period of time to train the AI on.
