except that your argument is invalid. copyright law is between humans, not between algorithms and humans. what is happening now is, for the most part, unregulated.
to me it's not just about copyright. most laws are between humans. if an AI makes a death threat towards you, you don't have anyone you can sue or get a restraining order against. you can't sue the output of an algorithm. this might have to change also, but at this point there's not much you can do.
