AGI and ASI are not the same thing. I don't even think once we have AGI that it'd be useful as anything more than personal assistants (which is great), so that we ought to focus on focused AI rather than general. Don't get me wrong, getting it to general is a great undertaking and acheivement to be celebrated, but it does not imply that the AI will be better than ChatGPT 2 in some areas, nor does it imply that the AI would be effective at teaching itself/learning naturally.
