They are trying to figure out how to make that model work more efficiently in terms of power usage. They try to limit it's capabilities to be available without limits for more users to expand their business. We are beta testers and stop fucking complaining every day about it. They know what they are doing better than the average redditor. My story: I paid for gpt4 the day it was available, I was disappointed and didn't see much reasons to pay over gpt3/3.5. I pay for it now cuz it has plugins and code interpreter, it works for me, it makes my life easier, i'm a happy customer.
