I had brought this up in a different post;
AI work cannot be copyrighted, only parts changed by real people
Voices cannot be copyrighted, work voiced by an ai and claimed to be from a real person is illegal
All this leads to Hollywood work only being able to copyright visual content as long as that wasn’t made by ai either, cgi/effects are considered a tool used by real people, so only work by real people is subject to copyright whether it does or does not use these tools
Current dmca detections methods etc rely heavily on audio, and if Hollywood cannot copyright the script due to it being ai generated, and voices already cannot be copyrighted, that leaves the industry with only background music/sound effects, and the actual video. They will 100% lose more money due to self imposed piracy promotion without the ability to detect it rather that just paying real people to do original work that can be copyrighted. There is a chance they decide to go with ai work and hire editors, but the vast majority of these editors will be the writers who definitely will not do this work without the pay they would’ve have gotten by writing it themselves
What this is more likely to lead to is Hollywood using ai work and claiming they were made by real people to get it copyrighted, which is likely to work at first before blowing up in their faces once better tools are made to detect it. Perjury cases can be made by people whose work is done with non copyrighted ai work when these Hollywood companies are found to be lying about work not being ai just to get it copyright protected
TLDR
It’s likely if a movie was made using ai work, that script and voice acting can be rearranged by somebody else and made into essentially the same movie but with a different style in visuals. A Hollywood company would be unable to legally issue dmca violations and either lose money to people watching the cheaper or free versions in case of a YouTube style plot overview, or illegally issue dmca vi
