This whole post is disturbing me. I have an honours degree in psych and the amount of blatant misinformation about mental health that people are spouting is insane. The lack of critical thinking is also worrying. People keep talking about their bad experiences with therapists, which is valid, but they’re making leaps and assuming that all therapists are bad because it’s all they hear about. People who have a bad experience are just significantly more likely to talk about it.
