They are an investigation start up and are opening the chatbot both to test their model in the real world and to try and cover up the cost of it running. They care about buissness but not as much as the integity of the product itself.
Now, why they decided that making a lawsuit draft is somehow dangerous or un-ethical is beyond me. It feels like a perfectly reasonable and useful feature with practically minimal to non-harmful applications.
