First thing I thought of when I saw this on another sub. Instituting a moratorium for *what?* What is that going to achieve? If we’re looking at the US, the government is gridlocked and NOTHING will be done no matter how much money people try to dump into Congress. Hilarious.
Pausing AI development is delaying the inevitable and the only thing it will do is make other countries develop even faster. These people are gonna have to deal with their bad stock picks and I love to see how much billionaires whine.
