With us in charge, the planet will soon be unlivable. If the rich people decide to not destroy our habitat, there’s no bright future ahead. The people that own the world have different plans.
I say we embrace the idea of an AI taking over and let the chips fall where they may. The worst that could happen is nothing changes.
On our current trajectory, the future is us dying while we slave away for the people killing us.
Maybe our robotic overlords will be benevolent, unlike all of our current overlords.
