People need to stop with this hope for UBI to solve a very large unemployment rate. It's called Universal BASIC Income for a reason.
It would be barely over welfare. Not sure a society with like 30-40% unemployment rate living barely above current welfare sounds good to me lol
If AI truly automates that much our workforce, we'll need to look at something much more complex than just UBI if we don't want blood in the streets
