We have already outsourced the care for human life in self driving cars. It is one of the tasks most likely to kill us and to save our own lives we let AI make the decision in when to break or even turn the wheel.
People who say we will never let computers make the decision, that is ridiculous, of course we will, when we can prove through testing they make better decisions and save human lives.
