I mean. I hate to say it, but I don’t think people will actually take it seriously until it hits ‘Contagion’ levels of death. Like you catch it and 24 hours later you’re dead, convulsing on the floor and bleeding from your eyeballs. They won’t go back into lockdown, they won’t mask, they certainly won’t vaxx, until it’s a monster that tears you and your family apart in a single day. I hoped people would do the are minimum to slow it down, but that was hoping for too much. As long as half of the population continues to ignore and downplay, more people will die, until it’s shown up at EVERYONE’S doorstep.
