this is not news to me.... they are having their literal industrial revolution. The United States (and most of western Europe) had the same years agao. (consider the United States prior to the creation of the EPA - example) I'm finding that many folks bashing China on their Env right now have not thought it out. To China, it appears that the world (yet again) is trying to stifle, prevent, contain, control China.
That being said, I don't condone reckless environmental destruction in any form, but I do think everyone should at least consider that developing countries are on a different timeline than others... if that makes sense.
