I think people often think the west is doing so much more to tackle climate change and pollution. But these developing nations including China make most of our consumer goods. We basically shifted the CO2 emission and pollution to these countries.
Something as a simple as the right to repair can save millions of repairable electronics ending up in the trash. And we won’t need to buy new ones as often. Thus lowering the pressure on developing nations.
