To be fair most of the people who said that did turn out to be Nazis.
Also, we can get mental health support to people if they need it. No need to let a pandemic rage out of control and cause a whole generation to have lifelong long-Covid health problems, medical bankruptcies, etc in order to avoid a much smaller, manageable problem.
And doctors are experiencing burnout and suicide at a higher rate due to working in relentless war-like conditions during Covid spikes. So the less we make that happen, the better.
