An unfortunately high number of Americans believe that anything that isn’t free-market capitalism is evil, and not having the latest luxury goods is the equivalent of having bread lines.
The US is run by capitalists who put profit above human needs, and by privately owning the major media outlets, they have convinced the majority that the system is fair and there are no viable alternatives.
