This is an interesting point to talk about because while not using AI, there's an app in Sweden that is has been immensely popular that is considered to be controversial. It's a medical advice/check up app where you video talk with a real doctor and get a consultation. It was in the news a few months ago that it's ruining the profession and creating complications because the "visits" are barely 5-10 minutes long and that doctors might be missing a ton of visual and contextual information. It's controversial because there's no real data yet on success and failure rate but the government and some doctors are still upset or rather split. I'm pulling this from memory though and someone with more time might check it out.
