The potential for abuse by law enforcement is the major concern. It can be used to target political dissidents and protestors. It can be used to fine jaywalkers similar to how traffic cameras ticket license plates for speeding. It can be used as a tool to investigate crimes without any need for a warrant or probable cause, leading to individuals being wrongfully detained and arrested. Not to mention facial recognition falls dreadfully short in accurately identifying non-whites.
