I think on the contrary it’s the first step to tax the robots. One of the ways to do it would be to give them a legal status like we did for corporations. It’s just a shame guys who think about it don’t know much about robots and AI at all. I went to a talk at uni called “taxing robots” by a great Fiscal law professor but his understanding and interpretation of robots was disappointingly shallow.
