Yeah, reading on through the article they describe the "unique" tradition of Famadihana, and note that plague season coincides with the peak times of year for carrying out this practice of disinterring deceased relatives. I may be leaping to conclusions here, but surely someone ought to try and come up with a work around where this stops happening and they find a new, and less potentially plague inducing, way to revere their ancestors!?
