I personally enjoy driving, but once self-driving cars are 100% safe it may be hard to justify allowing people to get killed by human drivers if they are doing it just for their own enjoyment. I suppose a car is a tool like any other so it's not a simple argument to make. Still, I could definitely see human driving becoming illegal at some point in the future, with exceptions made for certain cases of course. Also not having a steering wheel and other controls in the car will make cars cheaper so eventually you may not be able to buy drivable cars (just like it's hard to find new stick shift cars today).
