I'm a driver here in Seattle. There is no way Uber is just going to hand a city of this size to its competition. We are seeing a lot of typical union-busting activity up here, but in the end I think they are going to have to make some concessions. Granted that will alter their calculations and may impact their business model worldwide, but no more than the ramifications of their self-inflicted Waymo suit.
