More than the throw away culture - which is definitely frustrating - we're up against over population as the main driver of environmental degradation. We're simply over carrying capacity for the lifestyle most of us want to live and much of the globe is rapidly "westernizing." But telling people they need to have fewer children is an unwelcome message, so we talk about taking reusable bags to the grocery store.
