And then, at least according to a spec episode I'm writing for The Twilight Zone, we'll create a universe that looks like ours with beings like ours (since ours is the only one we've directly experienced) which will either end up literally being ours (because if we're gods of the universe, us and our actions can transcend time) or the next in an endless chain of beings creating universes like theirs that they become the gods of (who knows, maybe some pantheon like the Greek one were actually denizens of the previous iteration of Earth).
