Great overview, it makes me think about all the less expected outcomes. Especially with self-driving cars, lower energy costs, and desalination...
How will we react? Will we work more in the cars or will we just plan to wake up in the middle of the night and sleep on the way to work? Or, will those cars somehow lead to so much job loss it will turn everything on its head. It's kind of impossible to know without trying it.
Also, when it comes to basic income, I wonder what's closer: technology making destitution impossible or a basic income???
