Probably a stupid question. But, if the sea levels are rising, and we will run out of freshwater soon enough. Would desalination drop the water levels enough to even it out eventually? Like if we get 1000 tonnes of ice which melts into the ocean which raises the sea level, if we then desalinate 1000 tonnes of sea water does that even out?
