To be fair, neither you nor I know much about the details of this accident. There are many things that could be taken into consideration. We don't know if he was fed misinformation about the bodies whereabouts or if the person who made the call had left or moved the body to a vulnerable/dangerous location. What we do know is that this happened after it was dark, so he had low visibility. Also, I am assuming that this is a high traffic area since it's a highway. This can also impede visibility. This accident could probably have been avoided if different precautions had been taken. But so can every other accident. No matter how highly trained an individual is there is going to be bad judgment calls that meet with bad luck. It's human. We don't know the full situation, and all I'm saying is that some empathy and compassion is a better thing to contribute then snarky coments like "he probably only ran him over so he didn't have to shoot him".
