Do you think a series of conversations with the students who submitted the dissertations would help you assess them more accurately?
Edgar Perez Global Speaker, thank you so much. It's a pleasure, really.
Back to basics ( written examinations ) with higher weighing % of assessment than reports or such

Edgar Perez Global Speaker, that was a clever analogy, thank you!
LaRon Williams, my pleasure!
The adoption of SynthID by OpenAI and others is a quietly significant announcement here. Cross-industry safety standards usually emerge after the damage, not before. If watermarking becomes the norm proactively, that's a genuinely important precedent for the AI era.
Real understanding comes faster when concepts are tested through building, not just consuming theory.
From one ZX Spectrum-born indie game dev to another: I genuinely think you’re closer to AGI than the other folks. Had some fun putting together this little “Frontier Models 2026 Carwash Challenge” comparison, Gemini was the only one that didn’t fall into the jagged common-sense trap. Exciting times ahead. Respect from Argentina.
Dear Michele Loi can you explain what they are in simple terms?
Edgar Perez Global Speaker once dependence becomes a strategic risk, self-reliance stops being an ambition and becomes national infrastructure.
Edgar Perez Global Speaker, thank you. And raize the topic of human capital at your keynotes.
Paolo Spada two elements: 1) an ontology of human-AI interaction artifacts: two examples: prompt development logs to trace how the human interacted when writing a complex prompt; modification logs to track the human requests to revise draft. Give a LLM a schema, and it will apply it coherently, it's called a "skill", it will document everything. Bonus effect: the original bits introduced by the LLM are also tracked and these are becoming more interesting every month; 2) an AI "harness" for logging: a set of tools (deterministic, but any AI can assist in creating them) that take care of ensuring that all chat sessions are stored appropriately (systematically, searchable) and map them to the interaction artifacts above; slighly more complex to build, automatic mapping of input and output flows across different sessions (necessary when students' context-engineering workflows become sophisticated, which I asssume must be the case for every "obviously AI assisted but pretty good" essay you graded). Feel free to contact me if you want to talk more.
AI isn’t just changing discovery, it’s compressing decision-making.
Appreciate the great work. What can be done to address David Sacks concerns with the recent draft AI EO. ?
Pradeep Sanyal
You just defined the exact battlefield of next-gen AI Governance, Pradeep Sanyal.
The transition from 'model behavior' to 'consequence control' is precisely why raw calculation ($C_2$) must be subordinated to human consciousness ($C_1$). When systems act across domains, the risk shifts from technical hallucinations to the systemic erosion of human agency.
This critical friction is what I conceptualize as the 'Sovereignty Gap'—the dangerous space where machine decision-power completely bypasses human consequence ownership. To operationalize your question of 'Who is accountable?', we engineered the Chief Humanity Officer (CHO) framework based on the Grand Formula $(C \times C)^H < T$. Safety isn't an algorithm; it's an architectural exponent ($H$) that anchors sovereignty back to the human subject.

Done. Very Well Done. 🥂🚀

The transition to operational 'consequence control' requires lived, localized implementation, not just abstract policy. We are actively stress-testing this architectural layer from the ground up:

Stop asking Ai to make decisions for you. It's a fine tool, not a therapist. Note: I did not read the article, im sure they did a fine job setting up the experiment.
Thanks Richard Loke Swee Kwong for sharing this gem with your community.I can't wait to hear their feedback on this very important issue.
